A New Team with a Shared Challenge
In the life sciences and healthcare industries, growth through acquisition is increasingly common, often requiring new teams to rapidly align and establish a shared vision. Following a recent acquisition, the client’s commercial team needed to define a cohesive strategy while building rapport across leaders who had not previously worked together.

The client enlisted Scribble & Spark to design and facilitate a 2.5-day leadership retreat at an offsite location, allowing the 10 leaders to step away from daily operations. The retreat was a balance of strategic planning with teambuilding. Leaders defined a shared vision for the commercial organization, established strategic pillars, and agreed on new ways of working to foster collaboration, transparency, and trust. We took breaks for fun activities, including "Minute to Win It" games with leaderboards and prizes, ensuring the retreat remained engaging and energizing. Following the retreat, Scribble & Spark created a concise “walk around” presentation so leaders could share the new strategy with their teams, encouraging buy-in across the commercial organization.

Several leaders requested similar workshops for their departments, extending alignment and clarity across the organization.
